Randy Berholtz, MBA/JD/M.Litt, is the Chairman of the Board and the Chief Executive Officer of the Company. He has over 20 years’ experience serving on the executive teams of biotech and pharmaceutical companies including: Nanogen, Inc., (Nasdaq: NGEN), the ACON Group of private US and Chinese life science companies Apricus Biosciences, Inc. (Nasdaq: APRI) and Innovus Pharmaceuticals Inc (OTC: INNV). He is a Senior Advisor to Mesa Verde Venture Partners, LLC, a life sciences venture capital firm and he is on the board of directors of three private companies: Ambulero, Inc., Abbreos, Inc. and Eysz, Inc. He formerly worked with large law firms in New York and San Diego. He has a BA from Cornell, an M. Litt. from Oxford where he was a Rhodes Scholar, an MBA from the University of San Diego Business School and a JD from Yale.
